When I applied for my passport I knew that we would be cutting it close to our departure date. I anxiously checked the website to see when they aticipated the delivery in hopes that maybe it would definitely come in time for our trip. I checked and checked, and finally the date was available 5/7, two days before we leave the country. So, I decided to give them a call and see about expediting my passport to make sure I get it in time. I called the passport office on Tuesday, they said call back Friday for my tracking number, but by Thursday the post office had already attempted the delivery. So apparently when we pay the extra $75 for expedited service, they mean expedited.
