First Day of Class

Yesterday we met with our Florence group for the first time. We learned about the four photographic processes that we will be studying: Albumen, Anthotype, printintg-out paper prints and solarplating printing. I am very excited to begin working with these new types of photography and going back to the very foundations of one of my favorite forms of artistic expression. We will also learn to work with a 4X5 field camera and even construct our own pinhole cameras to work with. I can't wait and even though it is a full month away, in my heart i am already there.
